What do delusional bigots do when they've run short on cash?  Aren't their bigoty members giving enough?  Focus on the Family is $6 million in the hole, and I wonder where those missing millions went--I'm guessing male prostitutes and bail money.  The business of spreading phony cures and tearing families apart ain't cheap, hmmm?

But here's a silver lining:  "Last fall, budget problems prompted Focus on the Family to eliminate more than 200 positions."  Thank you, Baby Jesus!

The latest threat to marriage: penguins

Didja hear about the homosexual penguins who adopted an egg when the egg's parents kept kicking it out of the nest?  (No, there's no punchline.) 

Of course, many unwanted children are adopted this way (by humans, not penguins) and they turn out just fine, though a lot of people refuse to believe it.  Gay men and women can be parents together, and their kids turn out just fine, thank you.

I can see it now:  this will somehow lead to the assertion that gay marriage will lead to unholy unions between men and penguins.  Some douchebag preacher will get himself on T.V. and say, "It's Adam and EVE, not Adam and--uh, Steve the Penguin! Protect marriage from homo flightless waterfowl!"

People like this are actually trying to "save" marriage from the gays!

Here in WA, the crusader leading the campaign to make marriage "between a man and a woman for life" has been divorced TWICE.  He's also been accused of domestic abuse against both wife and child.  Well, isn't that interesting?  How decent, how moral, how Christian.  What a fuckin' dirtbag.

So the queer gay homos are going to "destroy marriage", hmmm?  Maybe it's time to outlaw divorce altogether so you serial divorcees can remember what marriage is supposed to be about.

Asshole Prop 8 supporter discovers that actions have consequences

This is hiLARious!  Doug Manchester, the San Diego hotel developer who donated $125,000 to help pass anti-gay legislation (Prop 8, of course) is now begging queer gay homosexuals everywhere to stop boycotting his hotels.  He's practically on his knees offering oral worship if the gays would just stop canceling their reservations.

This is simply delicious.  Gay marriage has ZERO effect on him, but he just had to donate to discrimination.  You know, because his convictions are sooooo strong.  Well, after losing around $2 million due to boycotts, this asswipe is throwing his convictions right out the window.  Imagine that!

Oh well.  Life is tough, isn't it, Doug?  But how goddamn stupid could you possibly be?  Why in the world would you single out customers who traditionally have lots of disposable income and give them a giant slap in the face?  The least you can do is be man enough to accept the loss of their business instead of groveling on your knees with your mouth wide open.

Shitty rapper addresses gay issue "hard as hell", wants to bomb homos

Some asshole rapper calling himself Trick Trick wants to generate enough controversy to sell a couple of CDs, so he decided that attacking gay people is the way to go.  Wow...how new and edgy.

“I’ma go on the record right now with this.  Homosexuals are probably not gonna like this album,” Trick revealed to AllHipHop.com.  “I don’t want your f**got money any goddamn way.  I don’t like it [homosexuality].  Carry that s**t somewhere else.”

Don't flatter yourself, jerkwad.  What makes you think gay people even want your shitty rap album?  You don't want our money, and we don't want your trash cluttering up our shelves and iPods.  Simple as that.

“It’s just that every time that you turn on the TV, that sissy s**t is on,” Trick told AllHipHop.com.  “And they act like its f**king okay.  The world is changing for the worst when s**t like that happens.  And I address that issue.  I address it hard as hell.”

Ohhh, look out!  He addresses the issue on his non-selling rap album!  He addresses it hard as hell!  Is this guy fucking serious?  Surely he's joking, saying something so ridiculous.

On the self-titled album track called "Trick Trick," the Detroit rapper hurls vitriolic bars against gay activists Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell, referring to them as “dyke b**ches” and promising to send a “scud missile right through their f**king cruise ship.”

Nice.  I know he's completely talking out of his ass on this stuff, but seriously--bombing gay people?  Isn't that grounds for a terrorism investigation?  Seems like they do it for a lot of other people who make offhand remarks, so why not him?  I'd love to see this douchebag investigated and publicly embarrassed for being such a...well, douchebag.

Looking at his Amazon ratings, looks like his comments are generating some backlash.  Funny how many people (including myself, once my review appears) used the word "crap" in the title of their reviews...

Temple of Doom

Wow, Utah is really feeling the heat with this California Prop 8 business.  The Mormons campaigned relentlessly to get it passed, funneling money into their efforts from Utah and elsewhere, even going so far as to pressure Mormon-owned businesses to donate to the cause (is that even legal?).  Now they're facing a boycott of the entire state along with protests in front of Mormon churches.

"While those who disagree with our position on Proposition 8 have the right to make their feelings known, it is wrong to target the Church and its sacred places of worship for being part of the democratic process," Farah said.

Oh, so suddenly YOU don't like being singled out and targeted for your beliefs and way of life, hmmm?  Doesn't feel good, does it?  Cry me a river.  We'll leave your churches and temples and compounds alone when you get your evil tentacles the hell out of our bedrooms and voting booths.  YOU DON'T BELONG THERE.

The church had said in a statement after Tuesday's vote that "no one on any side of the question should be vilified, intimidated, harassed or subject to erroneous information."

What?  After all those LIES you spewed into the California media claiming that "public schools will be forced to teach gay marriage" (and other nonsense) unless Prop 8 is passed?  Oh, that's rich!  Fuck you, Farah.  Fuck you right in the ear.

Some are claiming that it's wrong to target the entire state of Utah, because not everyone there is Mormon.  They're also saying that "innocent bystanders" will be financially hurt by the loss of tourism and the Sundance Film Festival.  Yeah, well that's tough.  You non-Mormons need to be out there protesting as well, because they just fucked your state out of millions of potential tourist dollars.  This is what happens when religion meddles with affairs of the state, folks.  And it wasn't even their state!

If you religious types want to play in the world of politics, you'd better be ready to deal with the consequences.  Personally, I say TAX these churches (all of them) and their real estate and put that money towards our national debt.

Such rampant ignorance. These are the people who have fucked up our country beyond all repair by electing people like Bush, and they're about to put McCain/Palin into power. And I do think that's coming. I have hope for Obama but when I see things like this, I sorta feel like our country is doomed.

SHOCKING gay news (?)

Years ago I came up with a term to describe guys like Clay Aiken, who just admitted his glaringly-obvious gayness:  "In the closet with the door wide open."  It's not super clever but I think it fits. :)

The Devil's meat

Well!  Looks like McDonald's is in the dog (god?) house with the puke-inducingly-named American Family Association.  Turns out they're an evil homo-loving company who will drag us all into hell (if their food isn't already doing the job).

What did McDonald's do to cross the AFA, its president, Donald Wildmon, and -- by extension -- Jesus (R-Nz.)? They donated $20,000 to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.  McDonald's' revenue runs about five billion dollars a quarter, so you can see their profound commitment to destroying the family through sodomy.

The AFA says that by donating one thousandth of one percent of its 2007 earnings, "McDonald's has chosen not to remain neutral but to give the full weight of their corporation to promoting the homosexual agenda."  Which seems like a kind of shrill definition of "full weight," but maybe it's like the Quarter Pounder®, and it's the weight before cooking that counts.

Who would have guessed that hot meat stuffed between two fluffy, sauced-up buns could ever conjure up impure, gayosexual thoughts amongst the churchies?  Maybe the clown gives some of them a stiffy, hard to tell.  He does seem awfully happy.

All I can say is...  I'm lovin' it.

Sigh and double-sigh

Today a (gay) friend of mine posted on his LiveJournal about having to get his appendix removed last night.  He posted a photo of his torso with the gauze strips attached to it and described how it went, how painful it was, etc.

The first comment to his post was from one of his (gay) acquaintances, saying only "Nice chest.  How's the rest of the under your pants area look?"

Thank you for your concern.  Sigh.  Why are so many gay men so fucking shallow?
